A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

In my review on their promo I said that music wise, they combine the South American rawness with a bit of Swedish Death Metal rhythms in the starting days of that scene and slower Autopsy. Well, now you have a full length full of it! The sound is totally end 1980s / begin 1990s, which gives “Echoes of Death” an raw, authentic and pure feeling. The vocals of B. Nekroskull are low and diabolic and in the end you will hear a Convulse cover (“Putrid Intercorse” of the “World without God” album) It will never win any “Originality”-prize in any contest, but this is very well executed Old School Death Metal and worth every single cent you spend on it.
