Who could expect this…Another Rogga release in this issue! This time it is the project Putrevore along with übergutturalgrowler of Avulsed; Dave Rotten. Their debut “Morphed from Deadbreath” got some positive reviews despite not being original at all as the American styled dark and massive death metal could have been easily a 1993 NYDM release. With “Macabre Kingdom” the formula has been unchanged as the worship of early Immolation and Incantation combined with Rottrevore’s “Iniquitous” bluntness, is what you get for 35 devastating minutes. Especially the low guttural vocals of Dave Rotten, gives this album just the extra edge when it comes to massiveness. Fans of aforementioned bands should give this a spin or two. (Ricardo)
