A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Födelse is the Swedish word for birth. You could associate with something new for example a first release of a new band but the Swedish Black Metal band Murdryck is far from being a new band. Founded in Vänersborg they spread their furious music since 1999 and “Födelsen” is their fifth release and their second full-length album.

Murdryck doesn‘t surprise with something new but is able to give classic Black Metal a nice progressive twist. “Födelsen” delivers high quality, aggressive and nasty Black Metal and there are depressive and atmospheric flourishes and plenty of traditional in-your-face assaults. This creates a fantastic journey through the bands musical abilities with exciting turns. In my opinion this album is a must-have in a Black Metalhead‘s collection. (HaCeBo)
