The fifth album of Körgull the Exterminator, the Black/Thrashers from Spain, is upon us which is released by Xtreem Music, so they keep on switching labels with every release.
“Sharpen your Spikes” is played-by-the-book album based on both the Norwegian and the German scene, with the thrashy galloping riffs as well as the more fast and furious ones, the drums supporting the riffs the way it should be and with some hellish raspy vocals by Lilith Necrobitch.
Without doubt a raw edge is present and it has no real flaws but after a couple of spins I can only conclude it is an OK and steady album for me. (Ricardo)
