Frozen Soul is a young Death Metal act from Texas US. Quite well played and crafted Death Metal with a very old Impaler, Morpheus Descends or Impetigo vibe. This is a three song demo tape (with a cover song of Mortician), I kind of did not understood the concept of the cover art but okey I guess, I am used to see horror arts with skulls and stuff.
Musically they are more of a mid-paced Death Metal with some Doomy riffs too. The productions is not as demo as I thought but is not as sharp either. The vocals are really good, very deep tone which fits very good with the extremely down-tuned guitars. I really enjoyed this demo look forward to hear more of this band in the future. (Jön)
