A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

It is a bit annoying to start of mentioning that this is another Rogga Johansson project or collaboration with other well-known musicians, as I’m aware many others already have done that. Hell, I’m guilty as well. But still, it is a fact. Echelon has David Ingram (ex- Benediction, ex-Bolt Thrower, ex-Hail of Bullets) but also Johan Berglund in the line-up. Already 2 names who pops up in other bands or projects Rogga is involved as well. Back to Echelon, which is a typical Old School Death Metal album with typical Rogga-riffs, groove and typical Dave Ingram vocals. You get a melodic twist once in a while (like on “Of Warlocks and Wolves”) but at the end you get what you expect from this line-up. Rogga and Ingram fans will absolutely enjoy this, the ones who are Rogga-bored will not check this out because of his involvement. Up to you on which side you are. (Ricardo)
