Paganism! An essential concept in Black Metal. It mostly refers to European mythology, rarely to countries from other regions. Dala Jini shifts the spotlight to the heathen life of nomads in the steppes of Kazakhstan with this first demo.
With a 22-minute runtime, this one-man band from the far eastern country brings tales from ancient times, musically represented by raw, repetitive Black Metal. All songs were recorded at home, so it’s definitely not an Abyss/Tägtgren production, but rather a cold and harsh minimalistic recording: ideal for representing the atmosphere of wind howling over the steppes, accompanied by, in a positive way, thin vocals. The guitar melodies are simple and catchy.
