A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

Trve Sagacity are a brand new, one man, Black Metal band that calls Wales in the United Kingdom home. And ‘For The Great Fall Of Time’ here just so happens to be their debut, independently released, EP, which came out to the public on February 1st in the year 2023.

This five track EP has a basis of some pretty basic Black Metal but also shows influence from Thrash and Death Metal along the way as well. As a whole it really is nothing mind blowing or overtly original but it is rather good still, besides all that. It is good. Plus there is the fact that this is just the first release from a one man band, a one man band whose one man just so happens to be fifteen years old. Yes, you read that right, the only person on this whole EP is fifteen year old Marwolaeth, who handles everything perfectly for Trve Sagacity.

The future of Metal doesn’t look so bleak when bands like Trve Sagacity and Marwolaeth, in particularly, come onto the scene.
