The band has delivered many EPs and split releases, along with a couple of compilations and demo releases since 2017. X is responsible for those huge amounts of desperation, delivered with no holds barred. Unfortunately, X committed suicide in 2021…
Now, about the music… Let us dive into ‘Καταραμενα Λειψανα’.
If we translate from the Greek language, Μνημα means tomb and καταραμενα λειψανα means cursed remains…That being said, on this full-length album, we come closer than ever to our worst fears, nightmares, and all sorts of phobias.
These 4 tracks are full of buzzing guitars, along with screams of anguish and desperation in both the Greek language and English parts. Clocking in at more than 10 minutes each, they leave no room for relaxation. The bass guitar sounds decent, and the overall orchestration leads us into a Lo-Fi experience married with elements of Noise.
It is certainly one of those releases that you are either going to embrace, or you won’t even listen to for more than a minute.
