Info

Perkele. The north strikes back, and so does Finland with Oksennus (Vomit). “Kolme Toista” is their 3rd album, released 2 years after “Sokea idiootti”. 3 songs, 3 times 13 minutes of aural assault of cacophonous proportions. This is not easy to listen to. Progressive playing, dissonant riffwalls, octopus like drumming with some jazzy playings, rumbling bass grooves thicker than platinum and deep roaring grunts from the darkest corner of the north. This could be the European twin of Howls of Ebb. Totally disturbing metal of death. The incorporated „chants“ are insane and the pure chaos of the music as accessible as the earth`s core. Psychedelic Death Metal of the most destroying class. The repetitive patterns flow and crawl in your ears, in your mind, causing mental disturbance. Everything seems so chaotic and still kept together thanks to the excellent song writing skills for this kind of extreme music. Perfect sound to read some Lovecraft to it. Experimental Death Metal, 1 song divided in 3, forward-thinking, not your average metal…killer! (DPF)
