Lord Valtgryftåke, a degenerated soul from Chile who resided in Münster, Germany, has made it quite clear that Raw Black Metal is the game he is playing as he is also involved in acts like Abhorior, Gryftigæn and Pyreficativm and being active in the Pure Raw Underground Black Metal Plague circle along with hordes like Majestic Terror and Wampyric Rites.
With Mantiel he goes completely lo-fi, which results in a bleak and sharp guitar sound and no bass can be detected, if there is any in the first place. Minimalistic Black Metal that is raw, bleak and in the vein of the old school 90s which is headphone material, but don’t set the volume too loud as the cruel guitar sound will pierce your eardrums.
