A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

Azrael is back with a new entity called Frosten, but it could be you are known with his work within acts like Nefarious Dusk, Thy Dying Light, Atra Mors or Heath Deity. Nevertheless a busy man in the UK Black Metal scene for sure.

With his one-man project Frosten the fella goes back to the mid-90s Nordic Black Metal era with a good sense of melody, a dose of grimness, well-fitting song writing and a clear production which results in a solid mixture of old Setherial, old Marduk and old Gorgoroth.

“With Sigils and Infernal Signs” is more than decent and absolutely a nice addition to your collection if the mid-90s Black Metal is the Black Metal you enjoy most.
