The Peruvian Morbosatan, formed by musicians who are also active/used to be active in Vlad, Beheaded Saints, Anal Vomit, Hadez, …return after their cult 2018 debut “As One With Death” and a couple of compilations with this exclusive 2 track EP, released by the Polish Fallen Temple.
“Versus Christvs” is a raging blitzkrieg full of old school acidic screaming guitars, incredible/insane drumming and raw bestial vocals, proudly displaying what is called the ‘South American’ sound, blending influences from Black, Death and Thrash Metal into an explosive mixture of their own.
“Ángel de la perdición” which starts with a menacing dark opening riff not unfamiliar to Sarcofago and rabid vomited growls, before unfurling into another blast beated monster is another fine example of Morbosatan’s unpolished sound of true South American metal. Satanic, lewd, primal and profane.
Awesome! Fallen Temple was wise to release this EP. Those into genuine high quality South American brutality need not to hesitate for a second and hopefully their second album is unleashed on Europe very soon, so this EP can serve as an appetizer.
