A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

This is the second album from Blackheim’s one-man project, and that fact is a real shame because we’ll probably never get to see this band live. The first CD, ‘Ravendusk in my Heart’ had everything a Symphonic Black Metal fan could ask for: loads of variety between fast-paced and atmospheric sections. I couldn’t stop listening to it.

Now, I popped this second one into my CD player with trembling hands, and after a few seconds, I was blown away. It’s even better than ‘Ravendusk in my Heart’! With even more vocal variety and tracks like the Thrashy ‘Hater’, Blackheim is knocking my head against a wall! With a bloody head, I can only say that you’re not a Black Metal fan if you don’t get this album!
