A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

It took Håvard Tveito 9 years to complete the successor of the ‘Vetterkult’ and asked his fellow Folkearth member N.M. Haugfos to help out with the drums. The intention was to create a Psychedlic like Black Metal atmosphere that capture both the first 4 albums of Black Sabbath as well as Darkthrone and Isengard.

And while listening to the crackling bleak guitar sound which is used as fundament, one can hear the psychedelic veil dropping on the songs. Be it by the drums or the guitar switching to a more Stoner/Doom style, without going fuzzy all the way.

Something to check out if it all sounds interesting, but I can imagine you will be disappointed if your mind is stuck on the words Darkthrone and Isengard.
