A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Formed in the distant 1993, Reincarnation seems to be one of the veterans of the Spanish extreme metal scene. They released their debut record “Void” in 1997 and then disbanded. Now they are back with a second album called “The Beginning of the End”, a titled which is pretty far from original. Unfortunately the same can be said about Reincarnation’s music – this is generic slamming brutal death metal which you have heard hundreds of times if you are fan of the genre. Guttural vocals, speedy guitar riffs, blasting drums – yes it is all here but the problem is that there is nothing to distinguish Reincarnation from the other similar bands. They are advertised as the Spanish Pyrexia and Internal Bleeding but I don’t think they are near the level of those acts. Anyway if you don’t have enough brutal death metal already – check this out.
