A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

2007’s “Estrangement” is Drudkh’s sixth full length (including the acoustic folk album) in only five years! The Tsjernobyl-radiation must have been blowing eastwards resulting in a massive growth of the productivity gene. Drudkh hardly disappoint and also this album is totally what to expect. Again a slow and über-melancholic black metal ambience blends together in 4 lengthy songs. “Solitary Endless Path” sounds a bit different, speaking in Drudkh terms. But also on “Estrangement” Ukraine’s number one strays true to their sound which cannot be a bad thing. It’s a good thing the less good EP “Anti-Urban” can be forgotten now.
