Black Eucharist (who previously performed under the name Black Ejaculate from 2018–2021) is an American Black Metal band known for its raw, aggressive sound and provocative antichristian themes.
‘Inn of the Vaticide’ is their blasphemous 2023 debut on both Stygian Black Hand and Godz ov War Productions.
Black Eucharist delivers intensely blasphemous and sacrilegious Black Metal rooted in the old-school American tradition pioneered by acts such as Profanatica, Masochist, Von, and Demoncy. Their sound is relentlessly aggressive, built to be sonically devastating, and—much like those early influences—infused with a raw, dissonant Death Metal edge reminiscent of Profanatica’s unholy ferocity. Yet, rather than simply replicate the past, Black Eucharist injects their own distinctive character into this foundation, successfully updating and modernizing the style while preserving its primal, crushing essence.
Production of this album is clean, well-balanced and potent adding an extra demonic dimension to their noise. Furthermore, these three iconoclasts know how to build a sacrilegious ambiance by using samples, FX and other studio tricks. As usual Christ, the Church and Catholics get the full blast.
‘Inn of the Vaticide’ is not only a very strong well-produced debut for Black Eucharist, it’s also a prime example of good old USBM. Fans of Profanatica, Masochist or genuine USBM need to have a copy of this awesome album.
