It was high time that I listened to a band full of harsh vocals, along with an interesting amount of influence from some of my beloved bands such as Mayhem and Watain, with the slight addition of a few Mgła-style guitar walkthroughs.
Ventr is a band from Portugal which is housed by the Signal Rex label, not much is known about the Ventr entity, so we shall focus on the musical direction and blasphemies.
Six songs of pure Black Metal hammering. Nonstop violence, I would dare say! Real grim vocals along with highly influenced guitar riffing and melodies from Watain and obviously Mayhe, as mentioned before. A really interesting work, easily digested as it manages to bring back the true essential Black Metal feeling while giving you the chills.
