Bestial Bukkake – Masculine Testo Cumpilation [Compilation]

Sex sells, you’d be surprised to hear if you’ve lived under a rock for the past six or so decades. It sells everything, from toothpaste to insurance, from food to music. In fact, everyday reality has become so oversaturated with it, people don’t even notice it anymore. But since real sex almost disappeared from people’s lives and got lost in an endless vortex of personality devouring internet pages which sell the idea of sex, people will notice it. Therefore it’s difficult to understand why Germany’s Bestial Bukkake isn’t considered to be the next ‘biggest thing ever’ on the Black / Death part of the Metal spectrum. I mean, these guys have everything. An eye catching name, an ear catching sound and the imagery most metal fans would describe as ‘brutal’ (you should thank the editor for not allowing the emojis in reviews, because the word ‘brutal’ deserves the puke emoji. It is so overused, it lost all its meaning), all generously seasoned with the ever so popular idea of ‘toxic masculinity’ (if the song titles like ‘Fuck your Body, Free your Soul’ and ‘Six feet Blowjob’ don’t give a hint of that, you should reread the beginning of this paragraph again as many times as needed until you will understand it). I mean, far shittier bands get a lot more recognition than they do.

This actually young band (the members formed a band in the not so distant past, in the summer of 2022) apparently spent a generous amount of time building up their signature sound before actually forming the band as there is no way this just ‘happened’. While a lot of people refuse to take them seriously because of their name, their sound makes a serious statement. Allow me to explain.

Many bands claim they play a mixture of Black and Death Metal and most of them are just plain liars. Adding early Mayhem vocals to a riff you stole from the 80’s Morbid Angel does not mean you created a black / death metal recording, even if you add the sound of church bells and hints of choir chanting to it. It just means you stole something from someone. Yes, these genres are very narrow minded and don’t really allow a lot of experimentation, so a lot of today’s bands just copy, or better put, chew up and spit out stuff done in the past. Bestial Bukkake can’t be associated with bands like that, as they seem perfectly aware of the limitations of the genre, so they build up their sound on ‘progression’. Not in a sense that this is any sort of a ‘progressive’ metal, but on the idea of how should the combination of Black and Death Metal sound today, if it hadn’t been tarnished with whatever people sprinkled / seasoned /destroyed it with during the 90’s and the early millenium when everything was allowed and people who had no clue on how things should be done were forming bands and inventing laughable genres, adding ridiculous imagery and just simply sounding too MTV-ish.

On the other side, Bestial Bukkake has that prime 80’s vibe to it, yet it sounds fresh and yes, there are not hints of either Black and Death Metal in it or Death Metal with Black Metal vocals etc. This is how Black and Death Metal sound when played simultaneously. And both being done good. Try not to giggle at the name like a twelve year old kid, but listen to the music like a grown man you claim to be.
