Info

Had the pleasure to watch these guys on the very last The Devil`s Blood tour and was already impressed about their performance. The debut album „The Invocation“ left its mark as the bearer of Mercyful Fate`s legacy, although not reaching the splendour the legendary band did. With „Sanctimonious“ that came out of nothing, they climbed the mountains till the top and did it. That`s the missing Mercyful Fate album, the black heavy and catchy metal with melodic twin guitar harmonies, falsetto vocals and powerful riffs. King Diamond would be proud of (I don`t care If not). The production is top notch, the overall package fantastic, and the concept just brilliant the way it is presented. A lot of bands would be happy If they just could write one song in their career like Attic present on their entire album. Hits hits hits. Contender for album of the year. (DPF)
