A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Poisonous Reflection – Demo MMXXII [Demo]

Poisonous Reflection are a new two-piece (Tom Kelly / Jyoti Wilkinson) Noise/Black Metal project hailing from the UK, and their debut demo consists of an introduction track which sounds like a cross between The Aphex Twins, Shining, and the opening scenes from a post apocalyptic horror movie, before ‘Chained & Tortured’ takes a hold with a furious icy blast of Raw, Industrial tinged Black Metal. Demo MMXXII is a straight to throat slice of unfiltered, murkily produced noisy Black Metal with sadistically screamed vocals, thunderous rampaging drumming and hostile, raw riffs. It’s only a five minute demo but it certainly makes it’s point! (Luke Hayhurst)
