A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

Although the start of Mightiest from Germany starts way back in 1994, this is their debut full-length. And with some nice tunes on it, but also some mediocre ones. Opening track “Devour the Sun” has some Primordial-esque as well as an old Twin Obscenity vibe going on while “Animalvolence” is more a filler with a more modern approach. There are also some Dawn influences on this album. At the end I think they should shorten some tracks a combine the Dawn influences with the epicness of Primordial (“Devour The Sun” and “Soular Ecplise”) and they will have a second album with killer tracks. The potential is there! (Ricardo)
