German veterans Minas Morgul released their 7th full-length ‘Heimkehr’ in 2021, which highlights both the return to their roots as well as keeping the new influences presented on their 2017 album ‘Kult’.
‘Heimkehr’ became a versatile album which is both melodic but also has the Pagan features which makes the genre appealing. The riffs combined with the new vocalist Robse (known for his work within Vrankenvorde and especially Equilibrium) gives the music some catchy hooks that will allure fans of Melodic and more modern Pagan Black Metal.
But don’t expect something of the raw 90’s Pagan scene.
