A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

There’s something wrong with the indexing of the songs on the CD. My CD player indicates only 12 songs. It seems that song 8 not only consists of “Venereal warts (extended dance mix)” but also of “Bad dreams”. Anyway, as long all the stuff is on it, I don’t care hehe.
This re-release of the “Giallo” demo (song 1-9) and “Antefatto” EP (song 10 and 11) on CD is the last re-release to complete your Impetigo collection. Most songs are also featured on one of their full length albums although these older versions sometimes differ in arrangements, lyrics or intro’s. Song nr. 12 is a old version of the song “I work for the street cleaner” (which featured on their 2nd album). It was recorded during the “Antefatto” session and the song isn’t complete as Dan broke his snare drum head. I’m not gonna describe Impetigo’s godly style but every true sickhead knows that this band was in the same league as Macabre or (old) Pungent Stench. Many bands try to be cult because they are old or shit like that but Impetigo were CULT in it’s truest form.
The lesions of the Impetigo still fester indeed…
