Finnish Black Metal band Evil Might put out ‘Demo II’ here back in the year 2021. But the actual year that an album, EP or demo have been released does not really matter, just so long as we actually get to it some time.
And now that we are finally here, what do we actually find? Black Metal duh, to be more proper and precise, Black Metal of the Second Wave variety. Something we all know. There is really nothing flashy, nothing excitingly too new and shiny, just rather good, rather well done Black Metal that is done in a rather familiar way. Evil Might seem to understand that you don’t have to always make things new and shiny or different but sometimes the old dusty, tried and true ways are the way. And with ‘Demo II’ this is the way.
Sadly, according to Encyclopedia Metallum, Evil Might are on hold. So we may never see a follow up to this quite promising demo.
