I stumbled onto these Brazilians through Myspace where they had the title track of this demo posted. It’s a marvellous old school Death Metal tune which is the musical equivalent of a tank slowly rolling over your worst enemy, blood spurting, bones cracking and desperate screams of anguish.
It is the center piece on this short demo with a nice intro prior and followed with a cool cover of Sarcofago’s ‘The Black Vomit’. Their rendition stays close to the authentic rough Death/Thrash Metal feel that Sarcofago are so loved for in the underground.
Overall a rather nice and promising Demo. Especially if Poisonous can produce some more high calibre tunes like the title track I’m sure that the Death Metal underground will rejoice and celebrate this new kick ass band.
