This Indonesian Old School Death Metal band, Vultures, is a brand new, baby band, just being born this year, in 2023. And this bouncing baby band was able to get things together quickly and put out a demo within their first year of being alive. Is this senseless finger painting or the work of a genius prodigy?
Well, I would have to say that it’s a little of both. ‘Wreckage’ shows major signs of the genius prodigy coming through while still holding onto the excitement and fun of senseless finger painting. Vultures already understand the real mix of Punk and Thrash that created this genre while being able to add in their own touches of color. It’s extremely good, short and right to the point, three tracks just under eight and a half minutes to enjoy.
So, what would my short answer be to; Is Vultures’ ‘Wreckage’ any good?
Yeah! It fucking slaps!
