A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

For all the well-known reasons it took Terrorizer 17 (!!) years to come-up with a follow-up of one of the most influential albums in grindcore history, “World Downfall” from 1989. And to begin with a conclusion, “Darker Days Ahead” has become quite an interesting album, pretty good acutally. The only thing is that you shouldn’t expect anything of a “World Downfall 2”. Let’s call it the ‘Slayer/Reign In Blood’-syndrom, as long as you keep expecting such things you will get disappointed big time over and over again. Instead you’d better try to enjoy the other albums, wouldn’t it be cheap-ass to have a copy of the classic first album anyway? The album breathes the same kind of old school vibe and has the same kind of drumming and has some awesome Tampa-death like vocals to feast on. Suck on this!
