A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

When Barbaroz started I, Destroyer back in 2003, I’ll bet he thought it wouldn’t take 20 years before releasing his first official release.

After 4 demos ‘Cold, Dead Hands’ saw the light and presented some Death Metal infused Black/Thrash to the world. With hints of the raw aggression of first wave early Bathory, Mayhem and Sodom and 80s Death Metal, it is evident that the production doesn’t need a polished production. On ‘Speed Kills’ you will hear the more Speed Metal like rockin’ riffs of I, Destroyer, so you will hear every aspect of 80s Extreme Metal on ‘Cold, Dead Hands’.

For those who crave the raw, untamed sound of Black/ Thrash, this EP is worth checking out to see if this one will satifies your craving.
