A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Although not reviewed, I have enjoyed the previous release of Grafvitnir, ‘Keys to the Mysteries Beyond’ a lot. And if I tell you this album is a mix of fast paced riff-driven mid 1990s Dissection, Naglfar (‘Diabolical’) and Setherial (‘Nord’ and ‘Lords of the Nightrealm’), you can bet your ass I’ve spinned this one a lot as well.

Lots of dark and catchy melodies along with the suiting raspy vocals are creating a cosmic maelstrom that is both powerful and beautiful. Melodic yet fierce Black Metal with the right spirit of the 1990s, not a must-hear album but a must-witness album!
