A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Info

This Swedish Blackened Death Metal band once started back as Belzen by AE and Nox back in 1995. It seems no official tunes saw any daylight or got released and they both go their own way. AE joined Avsky and Nox became a member of Craft. In 2010 their paths crossed again and decided to reform Belzen and baptized it as Omnizide with unholy water. After a very well received 7” called “Pleasure of Death” (2011, both tracks are on this album as well), they kept writing the good stuff. Et voila, “Death Metal Holocaust” is born! And it is a convincing one! The Old School Death Metal is raw, unpolished and bone crushing and it has a Black Metal atmosphere drenched all over it. The Black Metal part is also because of Nox his vocals. Close your eyes and think of Repugnant meets Grotesque meets Master with a huge Darkthrone vibe, atmosphere and viciousness. No discussion, just take a listen to my favorite track “Monolith” and be convinced as well! (Ricardo)
