From Sweden emerges a new five-piece band called Beastgod with their first demo release titled, ‘Black Goat Victorious’.
This new Black Death Metal band contains the brute concepts of war, blasphemy and satanism which is wrapped in an audio barrage of chaos and destruction. Like a torrential storm in its peak while making its impact and driving all into submission, this is a fast yet brief bestial battle indeed! Containing four tracks that go a little over nine minutes in total, the songs here tend to be short yet very vicious in nature. From fast raging segments to slowed down dirge-like moments in the song structures, the sound and writing style from Beastgod kind of reminds me of what both Archgoat and Blasphemy have done. However, this is not a bad thing at all either!
All together, this first demo from Beastgod is a short yet very impactful presentation of what they are offering us here. I am very interested to hear more from them and what other future blasphemous audio hell they will unleash upon us!
