Info

During the ‘Through Thick Fog till Death’ recordings two more songs were recorded which for some reason didn’t end up on the aforementioned full-length album. Now two years later Agonia Records decided to release both songs after all on a limited edition 7″ vinyl.

Unfortunately for some reason I missed the ‘Through Thick Fog till Death’ album so I can’t compare this recording to that album though I have to say both these songs still are in the same vein as all other previous Urgehal recordings. Also Urgehal uses the ‘TNBM’ logo nowadays and I completely agree with them. Urgehal belongs to the True Norwegian Black Metal scene for a long time already and people know exactly what to expect from them; indeed true Norwegian underground Black Metal. If you for some stupid reason still haven’t heard Urgehal yet though like Darkthrone a lot than Urgehal will also appeal to you.

As said already this ‘Demonrape’ EP contains two mid-paced songs played in the typical Urgehal style. A style of Black Metal which I like a lot. The EP is limited to 1000 copies only and therefore can be seen as a real collectors item and it is definately worth your last money if you’re into this kind of Black Metal.
