Despite the use of meat cleavers, the deboning and the seeking of pleasure with limbs and intestinal contents, we don’t have to get our hands dirty quickly with Perpetual Misery.
Pure Death/Grind where this young duo has taken inspiration from the work of Mortician, Phlegm and the demos of Grotesque Infection. What the listener is offered is musically the equivalent of a stew of rotting flesh and diarrhoea, but in a way that you can expect with a drum machine, chopping riffs and guttural vocals.
It doesn’t surprise at all, but the connoisseur of butchering sounds couldn’t care less.
