Info

If you are interested in everything that is sounding like the 90s Nordic Black Metal scene and that has been released recently, you must check out Nagel. A new Black Metal act from The Netherlands with (ex-)members of Bezwering and Wederganger, who will check off all the boxes without sounding outdated.

Pure quality, razorsharp Black Metal in the vein of pre-Gaahl Gorgoroth and Ulver’s “Nattens Madrigal”, which are the influences mentioned by the band themselves, but ARE definitely spot on when you listen to the “Hel op Aarde” EP. Just listen to the main riff of “Haat en Rouw” and you hear the familiarity with the masterly hymns of the 90s.

Hateful and non-innovating Black Metal, just the way I want it to be. (Ricardo)
