Instead of just being an extension of the dissonant style their countrymen Sinmara or Svartidaudi have been laying down throughout the years, Helfró opted for a colder, more melodic, all-guns-blazing style of Black Metal, which is more reminiscent of the Swedish side of the genre (Dark Funeral, Dissection, Setherial), adding some clean vocals here and there for a more epic feel.
In the literary department we can identify in a very symbolic or allegoric way a deep, even physiological desire to bring the forces of the subconscious mind to the forefront in order to obtain individual growth. Praise the black flame! (Diego E.)
