A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

A bit surprised to hear the debut “Caustic Deathpath to Hell” of Italian Blood of Seklusion. When I read the name Sevared Records I rather expect a more US brutal death metal or Death/Grind than this more old school Death metal orientated release. Multiple growls, old school riffs with sometimes a Malevolent Creation or Divine Empire like groove, nice screamin’ leads and quite some effective mid-paced and faster ideas within the songs. If you are missing the death metal releases of the mid 1990s from the US, the old school fast ones which were still brutal…give this one a try. (Ricardo)
