Info

When you think you’ve heard it all, another killer album comes on your path. This one’s titled ‘Regression’ from the American death metal/grindcore band Theories. Well, mix Carcass, little Black Dahlia Murder, some Misery Index and the blistering tempo like Napalm Death and you’ll get a picture of what kind of music this band provides. Okay, they talk about death metal and grindcore, but also some metalcore and deathcore is audible on this one. The intense, aggressive and full speed tracks on this reasonable short album (28 minutes) will surely blow some speakers! A typical underground sound which is very aggressive and surely a more than decent debut album. Give this one a spin or you’ll regret it! My favorite: ‘Cycle of Decay’. (Fredde)
