Another worthy initiative from Nordic Crusade, the sublabel from the Spanish A Fine Day To die Records, combining the cult demos from two legendary Swedish bands.
This split contains the demos ‘At The Mountains Of Northern Storms’ (1992) by Throne of Ahaz and ‘Promo’94’ by The Moaning and I must admit that after all this time both these recordings still sound ferocious but crisp. You get to hear just how good this music sounded and what impact it must have had on the public back then. It’s genuine and authentic in nature.
Moreover the 3-track demo from The Moaning has a fourth bonus track, ‘Blood from Stone’ from the 1995 demo.
As usual, the packaging of the CD is top notch and very meticulously executed to the finest details.
Fans of these bands and their music who never had the chance to possess these recordings know where to find it. And I’m curious to learn what legendary underground gems Nordic Crusade/A Fine Day To die Records is going to unearth in the future.
