One Day in Pain…In Pain we Trust…”a concept album about how we believe in pain, and how we can grow in pain, and use the pain like a religion.

I sense a certain focus on the subject “Pain”, but don’t call me Lieutenant Columbo just yet.

One Day in Pain are back with their third album and serves the listener a slab of Old School Death Metal, the Swedish kind without going all HM-2 on your ass. Originator Niclas Olsson worked together with Rogga Johannson quite a bit and one could say the comparison of them centres around the groove. Concerning One Day in Pain, a groove with a wink towards the UK and end 80s US Death Metal scene. It all results in chugging and straightforward album with varied pacing, but with some welcome leads and solos and notable bass work as well.

Unpretentious and head-bobbing Swedish Death Metal that prioritizes groove, this will certainly be right up the alley for a bunch of you. No pleasure without pain…
