Envig’s ‘Gutwound’ is the second full-length in their discography, without counting in their 2019 live album ‘Stockholms blodbad’. A second full-length filled with groovy & crusty HM-2 infected Swedish Death Metal.
And don’t be surprised when you have a slight “hey, isn’t this a bit UK-warmachine-like?” throughout the songs while listening to them. Yes, Bolt Thrower is a inspiration for this Swedish military squad as well. Gut ripping Death Metal which sounds just about right, checking all the boxes but isn’t generic in any way.
Bring in the combat medic, cause there is some Swedish artillery fire incoming!
