The 5th album from this controversial diabolical Death Metal act, as follow up of the crushing and brutal ‘Once upon the Cross’.
‘Serpents of the Light has a duration of approx. 30 minutes, as one has come to expect from Deicide. I can’t think of a bad word about the superb uncompromising, trend-defying Death Metal creation from Glen Benton and company, although it is less brutal and has more hooks than ‘Once upon the Cross’. Amusing detail, the word ‘Satan’ is hardly to be found in the lyrics any more.
Don’t hesitate to buy this one.
