A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Cold, bone-chilling, freezing to death…that´s just a few examples which came to mind when I first read the name Glaciation….and I was right.

Glaciation play ice-cold French Black Metal. I say consciously French because, when you listen to them for a few minutes you can tell that they are from France and this is nothing bad at all. I totally love French Black Metal, as a matter of fact, fresh blood was absolutely necessary in the scene. Especially the vocals with the harsh and tortured style are a trademark.

The whole album with all its aggressiveness makes you feel like standing in the middle of a frozen icy devastated landscape where there is nothing but a wasteland of the damned full of fear and helplessness. The fast headbanging passages are interrupted by epic slowdowns.

I totally enjoyed listening to this record. There are many little details you can´t catch with the first run. (HaCeBo)
