A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Why not release another EP? It makes perfect sense. When you release a full-length in February and a follow-up EP in June, you have to release an EP in August. Sure, Arcwulf with his project Snares of Impurity is no Zarach ‘Baal’ Tharagh, but still…

And again a change in comparison with the predecessor; ‘The Immortal Winds of War [EP]’. This time multi-instrumentalist invited Morrigan (who did guest-vocals on the track ‘Wither’ on the debut ‘The Morning of the Magicians) to take over the microphone on all tracks. Snares of Impurity stuck to their formula of Raw Black Metal progressed once again.

And although I’m aware that ‘The Blood of a Warrior’ [EP] will not create a buzz within the scene or something like that, I do consider it as a fine listen.
