Perhaps few know, but Rotting Christ is actually one of the heralds of Black Metal. Blasphemous songs like ‘Feast of the grand whore’ and ‘The sixth communion’ must be quite extreme and shocking that time. Rotting Christ has cleared the road for many new upcoming bands. Even though you cannot compare the chaotic ‘Satanas tedeum’ with the typical upcoming albums they releases some years later.
