A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

After 2 demos, Jure Grando from Indonesia signed a deal with Inferna Profundus Records to unleash more raw and bleak Black Metal with the debut album ‘Archaic Moon Mysticism’.

Jure Grando, a part of ‘Order of the Abyssal Moon’, keeps it lo-fi, vile and dreary in both composition and sound. It has the cassette deck rehearsal sound while music wise Jure Grando keeps an eye towards the Les Légions Noires scene. Just pure raw underground Black Metal, nothing more and nothing less.

One could say it is a tad monotonous as the up-tempo songs are interchangeable, but I assume that would be the thought of someone who isn’t an adept of bleak and lo-fi Black Metal, although I have to admit ‘Archaic Moon Mysticism’ is not supreme in any way either.
