A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

Those guys deserve congratulations just for the cartoonish cover artwork and the intro with the rotten guy who used to lead one of my all time favourite shows ever – “Tales from the Crypt”. Violent Homicidal Slasher or VHS come from Ontario, Canada and this is their second full-length album. James Laukka (bass), Andy Middaugh (drums) and Mike Hochins (guitars/vocals) attack your ears with 16 tracks of filthy Death Metal mixed with punk and even some rot’n’roll. VHS remind me of bands like Lord Gore and Ghoul with their “Splatterthrash”album. There is nothing original in this record but VHS don’t intend to be something unheard of – they just want to eat some brains and have a good old gore-splattered fun. Join them – you will not be sorry! (Zvetan)
