Toxic Ruin’s second album is full of furious Thrash…or perhaps not entirely?
You’ll find typical US Thrash that nods toward Havok, but unlike the debut ‘Subterranean Terror’, and ‘Mortal Insolence’, more Death Metal influences have found their way in, even though they previously covered Death’s ‘Crystal Mountain’, on an EP. Drummer David Miller believes this is because they have grown as musicians, but the core stays Thrash on ‘Nightmare Eclipse’.
If you enjoy Thrash that is more technical, with a modern sound that isn’t stuck in the 1980s, Toxic Ruin could be right up your street.
