A new review section: Buried by Time And Dust

We added a new review section, coincidentally another Mayhem reference following 'The Past is Alive', with the title 'Buried by Time and Dust'. Over the years, a lot of promos have been gathering dust simply because a fresh wave of promos arrived the following month and they were consigned to oblivion. We will review them here to make a clear distinction with our other reviews. We will also use it to complete a discography in terms of reviews. Feel free to contact us if you would like to submit your music or would like to join the staff.

And another EP from this Black Metal act from Texas, USA, this time includes a couple of studio and rehearsal tracks.

With the title track Mordant Rhed starts in a different way than the tracks on the previous ‘Fuck your Feeble World’ EP and ‘Hatred of Humanity’ demo. I almost would like to say “Again?”, as it is not the first time they are shifting influences and approach with a song within a release, this time the Finnish approach is there again. Diverse for some, confusing for others. With ‘Cemetary without Crosses’ as well…more Thrashy and Celtic Frost-like.

Give it a listen if “First Wave” is something you enjoy and the phrase “Evil as fuck” is something you live by.
